About Sxf Language: English (USA)

SXF allows Sentinel slash or adult fiction, announcements of Sentinel slash or adult fiction newly posted to websites, announcements of Sentinel slash or adult mailing lists starting up, and occasional announcements of official Sentinel-related news (from the Burgi fan club heads, or from the SOS or Ad Group). This list is for Sentinel fiction only; there is a different list called SENAD for discussion of The Sentinel slash. If you wish to subscribe to SENAD, please send a request with an age statement and statement of intent (as described above) to the list admins for Senad, at senad_admin@populli.net. SENAD is not the only discussion list around; it is simply the list historically associated with SXF. We cannot allow any fiction involving real people (especially the actors). If you'd like to include another fan in your fiction, get their permission first. We also ask that no fiction be posted with explicit sexual actions involving minors. If you have questions on what counts as 'explicit', please ask the SXF listowner at sxf-owner@populli.org. Attached files can crash people's systems -- this includes long stories, short stories, pictures... ANY attached file. So, don't post that way. Ever. :) Also, check your e-mail program's setting to be sure that it's not automatically attaching something for you (like HTML code) -- some of them do that (especially Outlook -- I have a specific set of directions on how to fix Outlook to not do this.). There is a post called "How To Survive On SXF" which will give a lot of guidelines and help on how to post fiction to this list, as well as how to format it once you've received it from others. Read it, as it will save you time and trouble. To post a message to all the list members, send email to sxf@populli.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to Sxf

Subscribe to Sxf by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
